Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Are the prices on your website current?
A: Yes. We update our website prices whenever they change?
Q: How far do you travel?
A: We will travel in an area withing 34 minutes of estimated travel from the business address. You may still be able to book services for addition fees up to 40 minutes out.
Q: Can I come to you?
A: No. At this time we do not have a facility.
Q: Can you accommodate large groups?
A: Yes. We have several therapists, that if available can service groups of 20 or more.
Q: What is the preferred tipping method?
A: Cash is king, but you may also tip via Venmo or credit card. If you are unsure how to tip, it works basically the same as with restaurant servers, 10-25%. It is up to your discretion.
Q: What about the weather?
A: In a level 2 snow emergency, or higher, we will be unable to travel to your lodging. Driveways are particularly bad with snow in the area and your therapist may not be able to make it to your cabin even if there is no county wide snow emergency. In the event of a severe storm, trees and power lines may be down preventing us from access to you. In any of these situations, your payment will be refunded.
Q: Can I get a massage if I'm pregnant.
A. If you are feeling well, your doctor has cleared you for massage and you are in your second or third trimester, a prenatal massage can be wonderfully relaxing. If you are in your first trimester, not cleared with high blood pressure or other issues, we will be unable to massage you.
Q. What should I wear?
A. The therapists will leave the room while you undress/dress. You may undress to your comfort level. You will be draped by a sheet and possibly a blanket at all times. The fewer articles of clothing and jewelry you wear the better. The therapist should be able to work on muscle attachment points for the most effective massages. *Chair massage-wear clothes!
Q. What if I have had an injury, cancer, or surgery?
A. Make sure you have clearance from your doctor for massage if you have been treated or experienced anything recently. For chronic conditions, please check with your doctor.
Q. What do I need to do to book?
A. Read the policies and follow the instructions in the booking section!
Q. What if something happens, like we run out of water or we just found out about a pregnancy this morning?
A. The therapist will offer alternatives if possible. If the alternatives are refused, you are still responsible for payment.
